Embracing Allah’s love

Embracing Allah’s love

In the Name of Allah the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Even the greatest of Allah’s Creation faced death and had to return back to his Lord – Muhammad ﷺ. A life spanning of only 63 years he accomplished his task to show us by his example how to live according to the Qur’an’s Guidance. A short life, but a life to seek example from – for the entire mankind. So, if he faced death then be sure we will face our own death.

When we enter this world we tend to grow up in a sort bubble until we experience the loss of others close to us. Then we understand that we were never meant to stay and become attached to the world.

We were meant to find and understand Allah’s love for us and His love is contained in the Qur’an; granting us direction as to what leads to happiness, peace, and contentment in His remembrance. The salah is the greatest refuge and a reminder of the standing also on the day of judgment. His love can be found in His prohibitions that what He has forbidden for us lies in His compassion and care. His prohibitions save us from despair, bad consequences, and from regret. His forgiveness despite the enormity of our sins shows us that no one loves us more than Him.

So, if we have understood His love, then certainly we should prepare to meet Him by displaying that we too love Him beyond everything and anyone else; and how we love Him is by following His Qur’an and following His beloved Prophet’s ﷺ sunnah.

Indeed Allah knows best.

“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a man like you, ˹but˺ it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So whoever hopes for the meeting with their Lord, let them do good deeds and associate none in the worship of their Lord.”” (Al-Kahf 110)
