26 Oct Sincere Supplications
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Which one of us has not cried helplessly in the darkness? Which one of us has not made the sincerest of supplications when we thought things were seemingly impossible? When we felt our most loneliest and came to our knees and cried out in utter helplessness. We made promises to Allah that should Allah remove the darkness we will forever be grateful. Our gratitude would manifest in personal change.
Then, unexpectedly, miraculously and beautifully Allah removed the darkness, the difficulty and despair. We understood a fragment of His Greatness whilst we realized our tremendous weakness and fragility.
As we were sincere with Allah during the calamities and difficulties, as we should be in times of ease and happiness.
We must always be sincere and remember there is no one other than Allah who removes distress and who is the Most powerful and who is the One and only Lord. Even those who claimed not to believe eventually cry out His Name.
Live with sincerity towards Allah until our last breath. Live with gratitude and thanks towards Allah until our last breath. This is a reminder said out aloud for myself, perchance anyone else might also benefit.”
“Or ˹ask them,˺ “Who responds to the distressed when they cry to Him, relieving ˹their˺ affliction, and ˹Who˺ makes you successors in the earth? Is it another god besides Allah? Yet you are hardly mindful!” (62)” An-Naml 27:62
