10 Aug Make Dua right now!
I used to have this mindset that I will make dua after my Salaah, or after some Quran reading or a Zikr session or on a Friday or at Tahajjud time – Basically after doing a good deed or at an auspicious time so the barakah and acceptance level increases.
But sometimes we get so caught up in our chaotic lives, that we dont actually make dua at those auspicious times. And the days go by in a blur and we become disconnected from making Dua, or our duas are rushed, monotonous, and lacking sincerity.
But now I learnt something new that has changed my life:
Dont delay making dua!
If you think about something, make dua for it that exact moment. Sincerity & presence of mind are so important when making dua.
If you’re stuck in a problem and you are thinking about it while having breakfast, make dua right then. You are lying down and something disturbs your peace of mind, make dua right then. One of your family is being difficult, make dua right then. If you are struggling with a health issue and you are feeling low, make dua right then!
We are guided by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala to making dua for something because Allah ta’ala wants to give it to us. So the moment a desire for something sparks your heart, even if it is a small thing, ASK ALLAH.
If Allah didn’t want to accept your dua, he would not have guided you to make that dua in the first place. #REFLECT
There is so much to gain from making dua throughout the day and night, the most important being that we keep connected to our Merciful Rabb at all times.

Who else can ease the suffering of an aching, troubled heart besides Allah, The Most High, The Great.
Can you think of something that is troubling you at the moment? Lift your hands up right now and make Dua! Dont delay for another minute. Ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and be assured of a response. Its that simple. Build the habit of doing this until you are asking Allah at all times & for everything.
May Allah grant us sincerity in our dua’as and accept all our Duas. Our Allah, we beg you for Aafiyah in Dunya & Aakhirah. Aameen.
