Reflections on the ego

Reflections on the ego

The Quran always has something to say about our egos and it’s a guide on how to think outside of ourselves, which can’t happen if Allah isn’t our purpose.

  1. Be mindful of Allah
  2. Live for Allah
  3. Look out for others

(*as Rasullilah صل الله عليه و سلم taught us)

These are the steps we’ve been given to avoid falling into becoming self-centered narcissistic selfish people who have a false heightened sense of importance. That’s how we become successful..

We all need Allah’s guidance.
