Building a relationship with AlQuran

Building a relationship with AlQuran

Assalaamu alaykum,

Praying that this has been a productive week for you in your Quran journey.

Consider this, when consciously deciding to build a relationship with AlQuran:

When you make istikhara and wonder about the answer to a question in your life, sometimes the Imam will read the very verses you were just reviewing in the prayer and you’ll feel like Allah SWT knows your confusion and is guiding you.

Or if you’re so lonely and crying and worried and anxious, you might tune into a live Islamic lecture and the scholar is speaking about your favorite verse and the tafsir of it and it feels like Allah SWT is telling you that He is there.

Or when you’re going through the hardest trials of your life, you may suddenly receive a message from a friend that says, ‘thinking of you’ with a link to a recitation and without knowing, they sent you the verses in the Quran that feel like your heart has been hugged and held and understood.

The Quran is healing and a guide and a friend.

And it’s also so much more.

It’s life.

It’s not that with the Quran you won’t experience pain or hardship and definitely you should seek professional help as needed.

But it’s knowing that through it all, with the Quran, you’re never alone.

Allahumma Lakal Hamd, walakash Shukr!

Rayhaanah
