Mindfulness of the Angels

Mindfulness of the Angels

Mindfulness of angels 💞
Isn’t it really strange that from a young age we have been taught to be mindful of Jinn and how to protect ourselves from devils, but we were heedless about the presence of angels!!!
Did the prophet peace and blessings be upon him teach the sahaba to be mindful only of jinn ?
And if this was the case, how come the belief of angels is the second pillar of Iman and not the belief of Jinn!!!
Hearing stories about jinn and possession is a common topic in Islamic literature but the company of angels continues to be a taboo.
Is it possible for a human being to see angels or feel their presence?
In Al Bukhari ( the most authentic book of Hadith after the Quran), a Hadith was narrated about Usaid ibn Hudhair, a companion who was blessed with a beautiful voice in reciting Quran. This companion has seen the angels as glowing lights descended to accompany him in one of the nights, when he was reciting sura Al Baqara. The next morning he told the prophet ﷺ . The messenger of Allah affirmed to him that what he has seen were angels and if he had continued the recitation, people of Madina could have seen them in the streets.
Those were Angels who came near to you for your voice and if you had kept on reciting till dawn, it would have remained there till morning when people would have seen it as it would not have disappeared.”
Next time when you stand to pray or while reading Quran be mindful of Allah subhanahu and His angels on a mental and a physical levels.
