Hifdh Journeys: How my love for The Qur’aan began

:::Guest Blog Post:::

My love for the Quraan Started when I was four years old. My parents used to put the cd of Surah Yaseen when we were in the car. I got used to listening to Surah Yasseen and once when the cd stopped I carried one reciting, Alhamdulillah!
My parents were amazed by this and they decided to send me for Hifdh  classes.
I used to go for private Hifdh classes and when I was about seven years old I went to a normal madressa.
I’m now completing the normal madressa syllabus but still continued with my Hifdh studies, I still go to a home madressa and my Aapa gives me alot of encouragement, she also does Hifdh classes with me.
Now I’m eleven years old and know the 30th and the 29th parah of the Quraan , I also know Surah Waaqi’a and  Surah Jumuah (well.. a few mistakes are still made) because of reading it every Friday.
I’m still continuing with my Hifdh but at quite a slow pace because of school homework, assignments, etc.
I thank Allah Ta’ala for helping me all the way. Haafidha Rayhaanah has also inspired me through her blog for always letting do my best and letting me never give up!
May Allah Ta’ala reward all that inspired me and InshaAllah Allah Ta’ala will always guide me and all the sisters the are doing Hifdh.
My message to all those sisters that are doing Hifdh is to always make Duaa to Allah Ta’ala to give them ease and never give up hope!
