The World of Hifdh: How the Qur’aan shapes the brain

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Assalaamu ‘alaykum wa Rahmatullah,

In recent weeks I’ve received numerous emails from hifdh teachers & school educators querying on the impact of alQur’aan upon the brain and of the important association to Qur’aanic memorisation in particular.

Looking back on Qur’aan folders and archives, I found the insightful piece written by Mohamed Ghilan to be most apt in answering these and other related questions.

Take a moment to read & reflect on this perceptive research, please:  How the Qur’aan shapes the brain

We have much to be grateful for, including the gift of Qur’aanic memorisation & beneficial knowledge!

Stay inspired!
