05 Dec Which verses inspire you?
Bismillah
Assalaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullah
For most hifdh students, motivation plays a key role in progress and consistent commitment to the completion of memorisation of al Qur’aan al Kareem. I’ve noticed students who, driven by the love of a Qur’aanic verse, remain focussed & inspired to achieve their hifdh-related goals, no matter the length of time or the challenges associated.
For me personally, one of favourite & most moving verse of the Glorious Qur’aan : Those who are constant, seeking the pleasure of their Lord, and keep up prayer and spend out of what we have given them secretly and openly and repel evil with good… [for them] gardens of perpetual abode which they will enter along with those who do good from among their parents and their spouses and their offspring; and the angels will enter in upon them from every gate: Peace be on you because you were constant! ( 13:22-24)
These verses remind me to reflect, renew my intention to focus on the purpose of my existence & to use the spiritual keys for admission into Paradise, inshaAllah.
-What are your favourite verses ? Have you memorised them as yet? And have these verses played a role in enriching your connection to al Qur’aan & to your Creator.
I’d love to hear from you on this topic, so please post your comments below & inspire us, too!

Nothing in life gives as much satisfaction as learning the quran and being able to recite it whenever you want from memory.
13.28 Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.”
I find this dua so beautiful, especially when you are desperate for help from Allah, He will put you in a situation that is best for you.
28:24 “My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.”
I also love the first nine verses of Surah Taha (reminds me not to stress out when I feel frustrated with my hifdh.
