18 Jan And from Allah’s Mercy…
Bismillah
Assalaamu ‘alaykum wa Rahmatullah
Dear readers:
I recently came across a profound extract that a sister emailed to me. Reading this short passage, I came to the realisation that every single thing about our beautiful Islam is resplendent & illuminated, Alhamdulillah!
Though I have been unable to find the source of this report, I would love to share the passage with you, in the hope that it would increase our appreciation & love for The Most Merciful, The Most Kind, The Most Compassionate:
Vander Hoven, a non – Muslim Dutch psychologist announced his discovery about the effect of repeating the word Allah on patients. After research and observations over a period of three years, his patients, Muslims an non – Muslims, particularly those who suffer tension and anxiety were trained to recite the word Allah. The A (Alif) of Allah is released from the respiratory system, thus controls breathing. The L (Laam) touches the upper jaw and produces a short pause. The repetition of that pause by pronouncing the L (Laam) again relaxes. The pronouncing of the H (Haa) of Allah creates a contact between the lung and the heart which controls the heart beat.
O honourable sister who is preserving Al Qur’aan! How fortunate you are!
Can you even begin to count the number of times you recite the name of Allah, when memorising Al Qur’aan? Reflect: of how blessed you are, in more ways than one…Indeed, even this scientific / medical miracle, is…from Allah’s Mercy!
Stay inspired!
Love Allah, Love the Qur’aan!
