Truly, no words can do justice in expressing our joy, elation & profound gratitude to Allah ‘Azza wa Jal, for allowing us, blessing us, with the most spiritual month of the Islamic calendar.

Dear memorisers of Al Qur’aan: Part of the great favours of this splendid month, is the blessing of the Qur’aan..it’s the month we’ve all been waiting for..the opportunity to sincerely devote ourselves to The Sacred Book..to recite its enlightening words in the early hours of the morning & during the stillness of the night..to ponder over its words..to reflect over its messages..to internalise the principles within..to recite with correct tajweed & in a melodious tone..to espress hope on reciting the verses of Paradise..to weep upon reciting the verses of the Fire..to recite for His Pleasure Alone..To love The Sacred Book, just as our radiant role-model did, Habeebullah (sallalahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)!

~May Allah Ta’ala bless you & i to recite the Qur’aan with feelings of awe, consciousness of our hearts..O Allah! This Ramadaan & always, let us respond to the meanings of the words, let us be aware that Allah is witnessing our recitation, let us feel that Allah is addressing you & i..Let us, O Allah! understand the greatness & supremacy of the words of Allah’s Bounty, Kindness & Might, aameen~
