Dear Umm ‘Abdullah
Jazaakillahu khayran for your email:) Shukran for your kind words, may Allah Ta’ala bless you, aameen! Alhamdulillah, i’m hafidha..You may wish to consider utilising the recitation of the following reciters, as it is generally quite strict for ijaaza purposes : Shaykh Husary or Shaykh Sa’aad Al-Ghaamidy. The late Shaykh Husary is particularly renowned & appreciated for his excellent standards of tajweed application.
~May Allah Ta’ala make us & you from amongst the family of Al Qur’aan, aameen!~
Wishing you all the very best in your journey of Qur’aan,
Du’aas, Rayhaanah
JAZAKALLAH SIS FOR UR ADVICE …MAY ALLAH ENABLE US TO BE AMONG HIS ELITE PEOPLE…. SIS CAN U TELL ME HOW U USED TO REVISE UR OLD LESSONS BEFORE THE NEW ONE…
Bismillah, wa alaykis salaam dear sis:) Generally, the more time one spends in the learning of the lessons, the easier it becomes later on for review & revision..i would read through each verse out aloud a number of times & spend more time in revising those verse which had previously been recited with mistakes..i also found that listening & reciting along with a qaari on CD helped in improving fluency & bettering the memorisation. The key to revision, is never to move on to the next verse if the previous verse has not been memorised well.
~May Allah keep us all steadfast on this journey, inshaa Allah! All the best , with du’aas:)
